Maison Chaumet, a renowned French jewellery house, recently held an exhibition in Qatar featuring its Joséphine high jewellery collection. The exhibition, which ran from February 20 to March 31, showcased some of the most exquisite pieces from the collection.
The Joséphine collection is named after Empress Joséphine, the wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, who was known for her love of jewellery. The collection features a range of designs inspired by the empress, including tiaras, necklaces, and earrings.
The exhibition was held at the Al Wajba Palace in Qatar and attracted a lot of attention from both locals and visitors. The collection was displayed in a stunning exhibition space that was designed to reflect the elegance and sophistication of Maison Chaumet.
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the opportunity to see some of the most iconic pieces from the Joséphine collection up close. These included the Joséphine Aigrette Impériale tiara, which was inspired by the one worn by Empress Joséphine, and the Joséphine Rondes de Nuit necklace, which features a stunning 36-carat pear-shaped diamond.
